That's why would you rather works on couples when “tell me something deep” doesn't. A forced choice is easy to answer, and the “wait, why?” afterwards is where the actual conversation is. How to play would you rather with your partner

1. Take turns reading. The reader answers too — the questions aren't a quiz for one of you.
